Depending on where someone lives, onlyfans will require fans (not just creators) to complete age verification to comply with local laws.

Sorry..i recently tried to sub, then there was this "verify your age", which should be determined by our face pic...at first i thought it was creator's private thing but it was for the whole onlyfans..without clicking my face, i cannot sub to any creator on onlyfans
Not something I have experienced, do you live somewhere that has passed a law requiring sites to verify the age of users?

If you're from UK then you have to verify your age. If that's the case then you have to use VPN.
Even when my vpn connects US, "verify your age" is still there...are you sure its not onlyfans new policy??

No, I subscribed to some OF page not that long ago.
When you created your id which the country did you choose? If that's UK, then you have to create new id & choose USA or some other country where face verifying isn't necessary.

I subscribed to one account yesterday & I didn't get any face verification problem.
Maybe OF is using mastercard's info to implement this policy. For example, you have to type your address (card's address) in OF settings. So if your card is issued in UK then you'll have to add that address there. And, that's how they are getting your location. And if your location/county has face verification policy then OF will implement that.

I’m hearing from more and more people saying OF has suddenly targeted their accounts for additional verification. Requiring them to upload selfies while holding their credit cards and IDs. There is no damn way I’m sending a photo of myself holding my sensitive and personal info to a website. Especially when there is no reason for it! I haven’t had any bank chargebacks nor refund requests.

Did you have a pre-existing OF account? I tried to start a new account recently and faced the same issue, but I figured it was because I lived in a state with age verification laws. Never had an issue with that on my existing account.
JFF is terrible about it. They don't even give you an option to age verify if you are from a state that requires it (not that I would do it anyways). They just block your account completely, even when you have current active subscriptions. It's kind of bullshit. I get that its some kind of political statement, which I support. But you can't go blocking people from accessing content that they've already paid for.
my account is like 40 days old..when i treid to resub, the age verification photo proof was there. If my card is from a place where verification is required, then i can't do anuthing cos vpn obviously doesnt work for me

Nah ... JFF has made it pretty clear that it's political. They were one of the first sites to actually file a lawsuit, if I remember correctly. Other sites that have implemented age verification block you unless you have an existing subscription that you have paid for. If you've already given them your credit card number, age verification shouldn't be an issue. And JFF obviously already has a database with my CC number and other information so adding that I'm age verified shouldn't be an issue. I'm with them on the issue ... age verification is bullshit and unconstitutional. I'll never do it. But they need to either provide a way for people who have existing subscriptions to access their paid for content or offer a refund. Keeping the money while also blocking, with no option to age verify, is super scammy.

This was posted on another thread. The date of the email is Nov 2023. I don’t know if some accounts are discovered while others are not, but it will get your account banned if found out.
